Hey Guys!
So I was trying to think of some new ideas for my blog for 2014, and I came up with a series called, 'Are they worth it?' this is where each month I will choose a high end brand and review some things from them, and tell you if they are worth it! Hopefully it will be helpful to some of you who are maybe thinking of getting something from the high end, but can't justify buying it!

So anyway, kicking of with one of the top of the high end, YSL. I have tried three things from YSL, and I have got to say, I love them. However, there are some dupes out there, that you can find for half the price.

First up is the all so Famous YSL Touche Eclat: £25

I love this, I can't believe I had not tried this before! It illuminates and conceals a little bit. I mainly put this under my eyes, and a tiny bit on my brow bone and nose (basically anywhere you want to highlight a bit!) However, it is really expensive! So two dupes I would suggest are:
Rimmel Match Perfection Illuminating Concealer - £5.99
Maybelline Dream Touch Lumi Concealer- £6.99

I have tried the Rimmel one a little while a go, and I have to say it is great! I am hopefully going to pick up the Maybelline one soon, so I can tell you what I think!

Next up is the YSL Glossy Stain- £22.50

I love this, especially the colour! However it is really expensive for the amount you get, so I don't use it that often! It really is like nothing else I own, but I have found two products that essentially do the same thing!
Loreal Glamshine Stain Splash- £7.99
Rimmel Apocalips- £4.99

Even though I haven't tried the Loreal one, I have heard great things about it! However there is not as great shade range as the Glossy Stains, but they are pretty good for the price!
I have tried a few of the apocalypse which I love, but wouldn't say they are the same as the Glossy Stains, but they do stay on for a while!

Finally is the YSL Baby Doll Mascara: £24.50
This is hands down my all time favourite mascara! It is really lengthening and volumising along with no clumps!
There are not any exact dupes that I have found for this mascara, so if you are thinking of splurging on a product, then I would definitely recommend this one!

That is it for todays post! Let me know which brand you would like next!
See you in my next post!
