Hey Guys!
So today I thought I would share with you two makeup products that I purchased recently, and am seriously excited about!

So the first thing that I bought is the Benefit Rockateur blush which is £23.50 from the benefit website.
The second is a YSL Rouge Volute Shine lipstick in Rose Intime which is £26.00 from the YSL Website.

The Rockateur blush is a gorgeous pink/brown colour, almost rose gold and has a slight bit of shimmer in it too! It's perfect for popping just a bit on the apples of your cheeks and blending up too! It was something that I have been thinking about purchasing for a while, but for some reason never actually did until now! It's nice because I don't really have anything that is similar to it as it's kind of between a bronzer and a blush colour. I think it just creates a nice little flush on my cheeks without looking too much, which I like as my cheeks can tend to be quite rosy anyway. (Not always a good thing...) The packaging is the usual box design from benefit which looks lovely but not always the best for when you are travelling, however it does have a mirror and comes with a little brush if you do take it out. It's been a staple in my daily makeup routine and can see it staying there for a while!

The YSL lipstick, I have to say I completely fell in love with as soon as I saw it! First thing is the packaging which I think YSL nailed, with a lovely gold bullet and the colour of the lipstick in the middle with the logo, very sophisticated and classy(not like me!)
The lipstick is a gorgeous bright pink (yes another bright pink lipstick!) however this one is totally different from anything else I have as it is so moisturising and creamy on your lips. It goes on like a dream, and is something which I can even apply without a mirror. Even though it's very moisturising it is still amazing pigment and lasts for ages. I find that even when I have had it on for a few hours there is still a slight stain of the colour on my lips, which I love!

I wouldn't normally splurge out on two expensive products like this together, however I had vouchers for christmas that were burning a whole in my pocket, so I thought I would do a bit of retail therapy! If you want to see a few more things that I have bought recently along with these two products then you can watch my haul here. Also you may have noticed I have changed my blog around a bit and re-designed which I thought looks better! Let me know what you think and if you have any requests, just leave them in the comments! Also if there is anything new on the market that you think I would like please let me know! I really want to try the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara, so that might be a new post on the way! Hope you enjoyed this blog post of my two not really little purchases!
See you in my next post!

  1. Absolutely LOVE that blusher, I have it too. I think you will definitely love using it!

Just as a tip for the future, when posting photos you may want to set it as 'X-Large' (after adding the photo just click on it and click 'X-Large') just so the photos are a bit clearer to the reader. Other than that, great blog hon! Keep it up x x x
