Hey Guys!

So you may remember I did a post a few weeks ago on the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani lipstick in Rock Steady which I absolutely love! Weeelll I may have gone and bought another one in a different colour, which is Firebird. I honestly love it so much, that I thought I would write a little blog post on it, as it will probably go out of stock soon!

So you can buy this lipstick from the Urban Decay website here for £16.

So as I have previously said, I absolutely the packing of the lipstick. It's so unique and out there but totally suitable for everyone! It has the gorgeous white and gold strips on the box and then black and gold on the actual lipstick. One of the things I also love is the fact that you can see what colour it is on the bottom, which is great when storing them!

Sooo probably one of the most important things about a lipstick is the colour, right?! Well this is probably why I chose this lipstick anyway. In the bullet of the lipstick it looks like a really deep purple, however on the lips it actually comes out as a stunning deep pink/purple colour as shown below.

As some of you will probably know, or could imagine, I have A LOT of lipsticks!! However I actually don't think I have anything just like this one! It's such a vibrant colour which is literally perfect for Spring/Summer! The pigment lasts for literally so long on your lips, but what I also like is that they don't feel dry after the initial creaminess has worn off.You are just left with a stain which is like the colour above, just a really deep pink purple colour. I mean trust me it literally took me so long to get that swatch off my arm haha!!
That type of colour also really makes your teeth look a lot whiter as it has that blue/purple undertone in it and I think it really complements my skin tone. I think that it would also suit A LOT of different people. The lipstick itself is SUPER moisturising and creamy and feels so luxurious on the lips. As I actually said in the other review, the only thing about this lipstick being so pigmented and creamy is that it's a bit harder to apply. That's why they created the lip liners which are exactly the same colours to the lipsticks. This way you can line your lips and then fill them in with the lipsticks to make them look a bit more precise. However I haven't tried the lip liners so I wouldn't know how well they work. However I just use a lip brush to apply this around my lips first and then just use the lipstick to fill in. I have though just applied it from the bullet straight to my lips, as long as you take your time and be a bit more accurate then you should be fine! Well it's worked for me anyway, so it should for you too!
The final thing that I love about this lipstick is that fact you can either wear it sheer to have just a wash of a bright pink colour, or you can really build it up! I sometimes also like to apply a lip balm before wearing this, just to make it slightly easier to apply.

That's it for this review, remember if you would like to try this lipstick then please be quick as they are only limited edition! Let me know if you would like to try this or any of the Gwen Stefani range, or if you have also let me know!
I hope you are all well, and are enjoying April. I'm so sorry this post is late this week, I have been SUPER busy haha! Don't worry though, there will still be a new post this Sunday as well!
Lots of love,
See you in my next post!
