Hey Guys!
So as you may have seen on my social media, a couple of months ago I visited the new spa in Lush in Cardiff. It was such a magical experience that I thought I just HAD to write up a post about it! (I've been meaning to write this since I had the treatment, but haven't had the chance 🙈) If you are a regular reader of my blog, then you will know that I had the chance to go to the launch event for the new Lush store in Cardiff. I'll leave the post link here if you want to read more info about that amazing evening. After having a tour of the spa that evening, I just knew I had to have a treatment there because it was just like nothing I had ever seen or experienced before. (Trust me, it's NOT like your normal spa!!)

I went to the spa back in May with my mum as it was actually a late Mother's Day present haha!! I also mainly just wanted to go myself though and I knew my mum would love it too!

We had 'The Comforter?' treatment which is this one that I thought would be the most fun and amazing to have as a first time Lush spa experience!
'The Comforter?' is a 60-minute treatment containing a luxurious, full-body exfoliating treatment and indulgent rose serum massage. This is priced at £85 per person, and I know, I know that sounds so expensive but let me explain how it is totally worth it!!

It's completely inspired by nostalgia and sweet memories like candyfloss and chocolate! There is a complete soundtrack for the 60 minutes which consists of covers of some songs that you'll definitely recognise! For example, 'Pure Imagination' which is one of my favourite songs! You can actually buy the soundtracks as well, which I would definitely recommend after your treatment as you can keep the memory of your experience! I was lucky enough to be given the soundtrack when I went to the launch and I absolutely love listening to it when I want to have a relaxing evening! The soundtrack really makes the treatment, and just transports you into a different world and just makes you think back to your childhood.

You are recommended to get there about 10-15 mins before you are due to have your treatment just so you can get settled in, have a look around the store, have an arm massage and then head up to the spa!
You are taken care off soooo well by each member of staff, (I'm really sorry it's been so long I've forgotten everyone's names!) Once you are up in the spa you will have a consultation to talk about what they will be doing during the treatment and products they will be using. It's set up like a really cute country kitchen and you're made to feel like you're just at home!
You will then be able to go to the toilet if needed (I have to say the toilets, and showers are amazing! Full of Lush products to cover your needs from hand scrub to mascara!)
You are then taken to your room where your treatment will be and trust me you won't be disappointed!

As you can see the room is covered in lights which looks like stars/space. There are also two beds, which is good as my mum and I could go in the same room and enjoy the experience together. You'll need to get undressed and then slip into the warm and very inviting bed (I could have fallen asleep straight away!)
They will start by using a hot chocolate scrub all over your body and massaging it in and then remove that by using warm cloths. Then they will massage a rose serum which is hot and floral and OMG feels and smells amazing on your skin! You have an eye mask on and are also wrapped up in blankets listening to the soundtrack while having this treatment. I mean what more do you want?! I seriously thought I was in heaven!! I came home feeling so relaxed and my skin just felt amazing! It left my skin feeling that way for quite a long time too, which is good. My mum also loved it and said the exact same things as me. It's definitely something that you would have not experienced before, as it's almost like you're on a journey. It will remind you not to take life too seriously and to put everything into perspective.

All of the Lush spa treatments are different and you will get a different experience every time. So if you are thinking of visiting then definitely choose the treatment that is most suited to you so you will get the most out of your money. I would 100% recommend 'The Comforter?' especially as your first treatment and I think it's definitely worth the money. I'll leave the link here if you want to browse the treatments! I'm already looking at what I can get next haha!

I hope you have enjoyed this post if you have any questions then feel free to leave them in the comments and I'll be sure to answer you! Let me know also if you have visited a Lush spa and your opinions or if you're now dying to visit!
Lots of love,
See you in my next post!
